The crane operates reliably within a fixed aisle of the ASRS. Utilizing a precision servo-drive system and an addressing mechanism, it achieves exact positioning both horizontally along the aisle and vertically to the required shelf height. It is equipped with a load platform and a fork mechanism capable of receiving and transferring fully-loaded standard pallets, executing storage (put-away) and retrieval (pick) operations from designated locations. The stacker crane interfaces seamlessly with the upper-level Warehouse Management System (WMS), receiving and executing commands to ensure accurate and real-time inventory management.
The primary objective of deploying this equipment is to achieve high-density, three-dimensional storage of palletized goods, thereby significantly increasing warehouse space utilization. Its automated operation mode effectively replaces the need for manual, high-altitude, and labor-intensive forklift work. This contributes to a safer working environment and supports a higher level of warehouse automation and digitalization.
Unit-Load Stacker Cranes are widely applicable across numerous sectors, including manufacturing, cold chain storage, bulk commodities, and third-party logistics (3PL), establishing them as a vital technological asset in the development of modern intelligent warehouses.
